The Holiday Collection Curated by Brigette Romanek

Our dear friend and acclaimed LA interior designer, Brigette Romanek, is famous for her pitch-perfect taste and sense of style that leans toward “classic, with a touch of whimsy.” This holiday season, we asked Brigette to curate a limited edition capsule of her absolute favorite Frank & Eileen pieces that dress up or down for all the hosting and holiday gatherings on our calendars. Like Brigette, the resulting collection is ridiculously elegant, approachable, and party-ready! We sat down and shared a cuppa with Brigette in her beautiful home to learn more about her approach to personal style, beloved family traditions, and gifting ideas for everyone on your list.

FRANK & EILEEN: In many ways, our everyday activities dictate our approach to outfitting. As an acclaimed interior designer and aesthete, how would you describe your personal style?

BRIGETTE: I take a cool, calm and collected approach to my personal style. I LOVE clothing—it's an expression.

F&E: Do you have any special pieces or reliable looks you lean on for holiday events, from casual family gatherings to elegant parties?

BRIGETTE: I love textures. I spend half my day playing with fabrics. Soft and cozy always speaks to me, so my velvet two-piece Tuscany Getaway Set is the best! When I wear it, I feel cozy and look great, if I do say so myself. For a holiday party, I just pair my velvet set with pumps or a fancy shoe. To feel really put together for holiday lunches or gatherings, I wear my Frank and Eileen button-ups with fitted pants, a blazer and a loafer or heel, depending on my mood.

F&E: What inspires you most this time of year?

BRIGETTE: Family. For me, the holidays are a time of peace, reflection, gratitude, kindness, and warmth.

F&E: Are there any family traditions or celebrations with friends you hold especially dear and look forward to?

BRIGETTE: Christmas family breakfast is a tradition, as well as a couple of parties with friends! I live for both of these occasions because they present an opportunity to connect and see the growth and the changes that have happened over the past year with family and friends. To hear how loved ones are doing is so important to me.

F&E: Sending and receiving presents is so personal, what do you love to gift or receive?

BRIGETTE: I love items that feel really thoughtful and special for the person I'm gifting them to. So while there’s no uniform answer for what items I give as gifts, I do love the experience of looking for the items very much. In the past, I’ve gifted coffee table books, candle sticks, throw blankets, decorative accessories (both vintage and new), planters, and so much more. I truly love giving gifts, and I also love to receive any gift that’s coming to me. A gift means someone thought of me…well, most gifts anyway.
