Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.
HIP
Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.
Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.
INSEAM
Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.
Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

"runs very very small. I ordered a large and I weigh around 125 to 130. I would order up a size or even 2. I love this skirt for comfort, but I do cut it at the split to make it an above the knee skirt. I am thankful to get it on sale since I cut it anyway. I would not pay full price for this and then cut it. LOL but as an above the knee skit I love it and it is a great piece!"

"I have several Donegal skirts and I got this one to cut it. LOL I cut it to make it a strait skirt right above the knee. Cut it where the split starts and it's now perfect!!! The fabric is very comfortable. I will warn that the skirt is very very tight! I normally take an XS and sometimes a S depending on the pant, short, skirt, but in this one I got a large and it fits great! Snug but not too tight. I purposely bought it on sale bc I knew I wanted to cut it. Don't hesitate if you can get it on sale and want to try to cut it. It's worth it as it looks so cute cut just straight across just above the knee."
